Interim Residence Order is a temporary residence order, made by the court giving you all of the powers and responsibilities associated with a Residence Order but it only lasts until the court makes a Full Order. It is also worth noting that although you have applied for a Residence Order the court can decide NOT to make any order if this is in the best interests of the child or children or to make an order other than the one you applied for.
An interim order is a regulation that is issued by the Minister in the case of a situation that presents a significant risk, direct or indirect, to human health, public safety, security, or the environment. www.hc-sc.gc.ca
